About Me

My name is Christine Fogle and I'm happily married to the love of my life (literally) Brice Fogle.  I say literally because we met when we were little, he was 6 and I was 7, in Tennessee.  We lived across the street from each other in Memphis, TN.  My family moved to Pennsylvania when I turned 9 and his family moved to Georgia.  Our families stayed in touch and we saw each other again when he was 11 and I was 12.  We did not see each other again until I was 18, and then again when I was 20.  I took a 10 day long trip down to see him after not seeing him for 2 years.  We instantly fell in love and began a relationship.  We started dating in May 2004 while I was still living in Pennsylvania and he was living in Georgia.  He spent the entire summer that year with me and we both took many weekend trips to see each other.  I was finally able to transfer to Georgia Southern University to be with him in January of 2005.  We got engaged in March 2006, and were married on August 5th,  2006.

A life changing event happened in both of our lives in July of 2007.  Brice was working out a lot with a friend of his, and they both decided to take the time they were investing in working out to fast and pray and be with God.  God showed up in many amazing ways and saved me and Brice the same week!  God was so gracious and merciful to save us both at the same time!  We've been on this spiritual journey together ever since as we strive every day to follow God, His unique path for our lives, and to glorify Him with everything we do.  We have been married for 4 years now and I praise God for giving me an amazing husband who loves me, takes care of me, and leads me spiritually every day.

Brice is a 6th grade science teacher and I work at a podiatrist doing different kinds of assistant work.  We remodeled and bought our first house in Statesboro, GA in 2009.  We have a flat coated retriever named Leo who is extremely spoiled, because of course he is our furry little son!  We also had two recent "additions" to our family, Suzanne and Dallas.  Dallas is 1 1/2 and Suzanne is her mother.  They lived with us for a about 5 months and then moved up into the apartment that is above our house.  Our attic was turned into an apartment before we bought the house which is great because we have been able to use it for ministry purposes.

I wanted to start blogging for many reasons, but mainly to talk about our journey and struggles through infertility.  I will blog about our history with infertility up until now, and then update frequently with what is going on as we further pursue God's will in this area of our lives.  I have read many other's blogs who have or are currently struggling with infertility and they have been a huge blessing to me.  It helps so much to know that there are others who go through this, and I praise God for the people He has put in my life to support and encourage me through this time.
